GARDENS
SOUTH
EAST FW
Southeast Fort Wayne is a wonderful place to live, play, and work. With easy access to Downtown, I-469, the international airport, area universities, retail, and public parks, its residents are diverse, strong, vibrant, and multigenerational.
Victory Gardens is the area's newest community development. Led by one of Fort Wayne's female developers, Victory Gardens consists of 66 new single-family homes strategically adjacent to a federally protected wetlands. The new development compliments the successful development of Southtown Crossings utilizing local contractors and local suppliers keeping investment dollars circulating in the southeast and general Fort Wayne area. The anticipated final investment will total over $11.0 Million. It is projected to generate more than $5.1 Million real estate tax revenue per year for local government, schools, and services.
Homeownership promotes stable neighborhoods. Stable neighborhoods attract housing. Both attract and support businesses and employment. Victory Gardens team recognized the importance this residential development will have in contributing to the ongoing positive economic growth in Southeast Fort Wayne. The team projects a particularly strong positive impact on the neighborhoods immediately surrounding the new development community.
One of the primary economic impacts will be the utilization of black contractors who currently live in the Southeast community or have a connection to the community. Victory Gardens is being 100% developed with community partners and stakeholders. Development dollars will remain here in the community.
